About

About Me

I am a 32 years old computer and science addict. My hobby and work involve Unix and KDE for over 7 years now. I tend to express my enthusiasm about both of them.

Unix and KDE are more than a hobby to me. People could tell you stories about me not stopping to praise their shining excellence. (Or they will rather roll their eyes in some cases)

I have represented KDE on most major computer fairs in Germany over the last years and my current day job involves Linux consulting and training. Getting more vocal in written form was a long planned action now finally coming to fruition. (hopefully)

About This Weblog

physos.org is about my Unix and especially KDE activities. It holds blog entries, short how-to articles and longer tutorials. Sometimes opinionated comments slip in, since KDE is a part of my life. You might find older, private, entries in the archive.

Technical

physos.org is built using Wordpress, the design is my own, based on an old sketch I did years ago. All bugs are mine. This page has a tendency to use advanced modern browser techniques and has a focus on the Konqueror browser for practical reasons.
