Are you part of the worldwide KDE revolution?
KDE Worldwide got an update. Yeah!
Sorry for not updating it for so long, but I had to rebuild the toolchain and too many things interfered.
KDE Worldwide will get some major updates over the next days, bringing it into modern times. You will be suprised
Providing Marble and Google Earth compatible data files is just the start of upcoming things.
I have some cleanup to do, since some people ended up on the wrong side of the world or in the middle of an ocean. I will improve verifing your entry a lot.
So current data, nice features coming and my head full of future plans for the upcoming new KDE website. World domination here we come.

My name is still not updated though, it shows in Canada while I now live near Toulouse in France. Thanks in advance! Very nice idea to have the names on Marble! I tested Marble, really cool! annma

Hi Rainer!
Thanks for all the work you’re putting into Worldwide! Also providing Marble/Google compatible data is a very good idea. Well I hope I’ll see myself on the map this time!

Annma: Which map are you looking at? I tested if you are in France.
Benoit: If you are not in I screwed up things. You should really be in. Looking … You are even in twice

Physos:
On which map am I? I looked here:
http://worldwide.kde.org/pics/eurozoom.jpeg http://worldwide.kde.org/pics/centraleurozoom.jpeg
and I can’t see myself. Are you refering to the java-map? I don’t have java installed.

These two maps are no longer maintained, since current xplanet does not allow for the same zooming effect, used before.
I should have removed them.
Yes, I was referring to the Java map. I am working on a different solution not needing Java, since many people do not seem to have that installed.
I will go away from the static maps with names, since too many people are on the maps and it is almost impossible to read names in big parts of Europe even in the zoomed maps.
I am working on adding a search function and other nice features.
For the moment I can only give you my word you are on the map

By the way, sorry to have entered my name twice. Of course you can remove the redundant entry (the entry to keep is the one with ‘bjacob’ as nickname).

My fault, really. Did not check for double entries before the last update.
