kde://radio coolness

The new KDE://radio page was announced yesterday. And Olaf reacted instantly.

Type kde://radio in your location bar.

Instant coolness without compiling. :) You have to love this community.

Thanks to Aaron for the wonderful updates from the source. Thanks to Olaf for acting instantly.

If you want to see a proof, watch the first video recorded with konstantin

(working title, anyone suggestions for a better name?) The first one finding the inspiration for the name, gets a cookie.

Maybe you called it Konstantin because GNOME applications which do similar things all have names from around the Constantinopel area. :)

  2. Thomas Walther says:

Strange… if I enter kde://radio, I’m also being redirected to radio.kde.org, but I get an entirely different website to the one in your video – an ftp directory/file listing of the open source lab of the oregon state university.

  3. DeKay says:

I get the same problem as Thomas!

There are problems with the DNS, it seems. This could not be sorted out over the weekend, things should settle tomorrow.

Thanks for the notice and sorry it did not work for you.
